Del.icio.us is just like a favourites tool that is on your computer yet with a twist…

Del.icio.us is an online bookmarking website. It takes your favourites and allows you to view them from any computer, and others can also view them. It puts your favourites and places them on the World Wide Web. You enter a network with people and they can view your favourites and you can view theres. You can also leave comments about the web sites.

This is a great site for learning within the classroom and also within the community of teachers in your school if you are a teacher. For example you can have a category for good language sites to use for English lessons and other teachers could log on to your account and see what you have added and also use the web sites to benefit them too.

Another great thing about del.icio.us is that users can also leave comments and feedback about sites you have saved. Here is an example from my del.icio.us account – a user has left a comment about the BBC site i posted as my favourite about Ancient Egypt -
